One plan for business owners and families in St. Louis. Six services. One fee.

Six services, delivered as one plan by one team. You don't have to pick, and you don't pay for them separately.

How it fits together

Six services. One plan. One fee.

Each service below is a chapter of the same written plan, not a separate engagement.

  1. Financial planning

One written plan: cash flow, taxes, insurance, investments, estate.

  2. Investment management

Portfolios built to the plan, held at Charles Schwab in your name.

  3. Tax planning

With your CPA: entity, retirement plan design, Roth conversions, timing.

  4. Estate and legacy

Titling, beneficiaries, trusts and gifting, coordinated with your attorney.

  5. Business exit

Valuation, deal structure, taxes on the sale, and life afterward.

  6. Retirement

How much is enough, when you can step back, and how to turn it into income.

One advisory fee based on the assets we manage covers all six. No commissions, no products, no hourly bills. The schedule is on Work With Us.

The six chapters

One plan, not six engagements

Most firms sell services one at a time. We don't, because the decisions overlap: an entity change affects your taxes, your retirement plan, and your estate. So every Belmont client gets all six, coordinated by the same two people, for one advisory fee.

Financial planning

One written plan covering cash flow, taxes, insurance, investments, and your estate, updated as your life changes.

Tax planning

The decisions made before year-end that shape what your return says, coordinated with your CPA.

Business exit planning

Valuation, deal structure, taxes on the sale, and life afterward. Ideally started years before you sell.

Retirement planning

How much is enough, when you can step back, and how to turn the business and your accounts into income.

Common questions

What people in St. Louis ask about our services

Do I have to use all six services?
No. Every client has access to all six, but what we actually spend time on depends on your situation. A 45-year-old owner spends more time on entity and tax questions; a retired couple on income and estate.
Do you prepare my tax return or draft my trust?
No. We plan and coordinate; your CPA prepares the return and your attorney drafts the documents. If you don't have one, we'll introduce you to professionals we work with.
What do the services cost?
One advisory fee based on the assets we manage: 1.00% a year on the first $1 million, with lower rates on the portions above it, billed quarterly in advance. All six services are included; fund expenses, any custodian transaction costs, and your CPA’s and attorney’s fees are separate. For example, $1 million under management costs $10,000 a year, about $2,500 a quarter. The full schedule is on our Work With Us page.
